THANKS Noah!
Anyway, gang...I just got this update on 'Quake. He will be going in either tomorrow or on Tuesday for another round of Chemotherapy treatments. I will let you know, when I hear, how he's doing...just as soon as I hear!
And, on this "EARTHQUAKE WATCH" thread, you are invited to post YOUR well wishes and you thoughts about Earthquake John Tenta, and let him know that YOU are thinking about him, and rooting for him to "go over" on this...the BIGGEST opponent that he's EVER faced.
I'm sending the info on "EARTHQUAKE WATCH" to him. So, I'm sure that whenever he has the time and he's feeling well enough, he'll check out this "EARTHQUAKE WATCH" of ours! THANK YOU FOR CARING!
TAKE CARE AND POST AWAY!!!

Earthquake was always someone I enjoyed watching. From the squashing of "Damien" Jakes Robets snake (which by the way Mike porter played a HUGE role in that angle..Ask him about it), When he was introduced from the crowd only to end up squashing Warrior to His many matches against Hulk Hogan...The list can go on for days. When Michael told me that he was in touch with Quake, The first thing (as a promoter) I thought was, "Great, Let's book him" Then Mike told me the news that he was battling cancer. Mike Porter has a cancer survivor story that can motivate ANYONE who is ill to keep fighting. And that’s just what he did with Quake. I had this "Earthquake Watch" section put up to pay tribute to the big man and so all his fans can keep apprised as to his status. Hopefully this Stem Cell research will pass and the medical field will be able to do some amazing things in the fields of Cancer, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and more. Stay strong Quake' my prayers are with you to pull through this. Being the booker for UWA I have one thing to say in closing. EARTHQUAKE GOES OVER!!!! Rob Wilds

Hey EVERYBODY,
I just this morning received an e-mail from 'Quake! He told me that he's doing well this time after his latest round of Chemo! He said that actually, this time, it is the BEST that he's felt after a round of Chemo, so he's quite pleased! He also said that he'll get the results of his last two rounds of Chemo in a couple of weeks.
So, I'll update more as I get it.
Keep your prayers going and keep it up with your Best Wishes. THEY'RE WORKING! And...KEEP POSTING!
THANKS! Michael Porter

HEY...
I can see by the large number of views that EARTHQUAKE WATCH is being read quite a bit! I THANK YOU for that! So...why don't more of you post your favorite EARTHQUAKE MOMENT or express you thoughts about 'Quake's battle with cancer? I'm sure that there are those of you who's family has been affected by cancer, or have a loved one who has either won or has, unfortunately, maybe lost a battle with this dreaded disease. John DOES need your PRAYERS and appreciates your well wishes! And...who knows just when he might check0out EARTHQUAKE WATCH here on unitedwrestlingalliance.com ? So...c'mon, gang...LET'S GET TO POSTING!!! THANKS!

Care and concern of skilled physicians is vital. But just as important is care and support of those who love them. And that includes all of us out here too.
I have battled successfully through two bouts with cancer and am struggling now through a third. And I know without the support of key friends and my kids I probably would not be as strong as I am now. We need to keep up the spirit and well wishes to those we know who are working their way through this disease. They are just as vital to recovery as medical care.
We need to keep those well wishes, prayer and support going out to John. Without them medical care can only do so much.
Keep up the good work guys.

Ok, Memories of Quake... when he did the snake is one of the most popular choices. (and were still waiting on that story mike. TELL THE WORLD!) Then there was when he swerved warrior, But I remember Earthquake vs Typhon. The bigest guys in WWF having one hell of a STIFF match. I remember seeing Quake at Arco Arena, front row. I was in full on WWF Mark mode and painted my face like Alice Cooper and sat in the FRONT ringside row. (Porter was ring announcer that night) Quake was walking around the ring getting all the heel heat saw me yelling like an idiot to slap my hand, he actually had to do a double take at my not so normal wrestling fan attire. But I tell you what, he noticed me, and slaped only my hand. That was the first time I ever felt like a wrestler. So thanks Quake, you were a modivator to get me in gear. Does anyone remember seeing Hogan VS Quake live? I should say has anyone ever had the privlage of seeing them live. Its worlds differant than on TV. The powerfull hits, the stif slams, the raw energy from the crowd. It was something. Everyone has theyre own list of top 10 wrestlers, but quake always falls in that list. Every time... My list is as follows. 1. Bret Hart (duh) 2. HHH 3. Chris Psycho Ward..(ha-ha-ha) 4. Jimmy Superfly Snuka 5. Earthquake 6. Ultimate Warriorr 7. Randy Savage 8. George the Animal Steel 9. Hulk Hogan 10. Marty Janetty So thats mine. Does Quake fall into yours?? Post it here. let's see..Be Honest.
