I know I am late on this topic.. but hey I have not been on here in some time so kiss my... well anyways!
I loved Ep 3, I say that it's the best one since Empire. The story was great, and everything I expected from this movie happened. I would like to see a 3.5 or something like that. I know it exists in the book world (as do Ep 7-9) and I have read it, but I would like to see it on film. Vader is a bad ass mofo, and one major plot about Vader was not even touched on. He did go back and free all the slaves in the universe between Ep 3 and Ep 4. That was his 1st desire as a child, and they were his 1st dreams given to him through the force. In Ep 1 Anikin says "I had a dream where I came back and freed all the slaves."

chris, the books have always kept a general timeline with the movies. Some of that was screwed up with eps 1-3 but hey its George's world. Lucas may not personally apporove all books but he does have input on them. Every author (at least at one time) had to go through athor Kevin J Anderson, whos like the unofficial head of Star Wars authors or Lucy Wilson and Sue Rostoni who are employed by Lucasfilm. Every book mentions Wilson and Rostoni and the short story I submitted (never got published never heard from them and I lost it years ago ) had to go thru Wilson and Rostoni. Also technically, Palpatine did die. It was a clone that came back in the "EXPANDED UNIVERSE" (as it is refferred). I have read EVERY one of the almost 50+ post Return of the Jedi books and most others. THere are like 4-5 clone wars books I havent hads the chance to get yet.
