WrestleShoot Report (1-9-05 TV Tapings)
HOLY COW!!!
That is the ONLY way, or BEST way to describe the 1-9-05 WrestleShoot TV Tapings!
Our SPECIAL GUEST for this set of WrestleShoot TV Tapings was none other than "The GREATEST Intercontinental Champion of ALL-TIME", The Honky Tonk Man!
Honky graciously consented to submit to what we call a "Shoot Interview", and BROTHER...SHOOT HE DID! Honky spared NO ONE in this BRUTALLY-honest and REVEALING Interview!
Some of the subjects and individules that he made comments on...some VERY contraversial, include the WWF/F, WWE Owner, Vince McMahon, "Good-Old J.R." Jim Ross. The Ultimate Warrior, The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Greg "the Hammer" Valentine, Jake "the Snake" Roberts, and others.
But, the BIGGEST or LARGEST target of HTM was none other than his very own FIRST COUSIN, WWE RAW Announcer, Jerry "the King" Lawler! You might say that Honky is NOT a big fan, nor a supporter of "The King"!
I am NOT going to reveal ALL that HTM said and did during his time on WrestleShoot TV. You will just have to see and hear it for yourself, when WrestleShoot TV comes to YOUR local Cable-Access Channel.
I WILL let you know just where AND when WrestleShoot TV will be coming to your area!
And now...at this time, I will give you some Quick Result "SPOILERS" for the matches taped for WrestleShoot TV. So, if you DON'T want to be "spoiled", and would rather see them for yourself, PLEASE pass by this section of the WrestleShoot Report.
These matches...in NO particular order, are as follows:
Match 1) For the UWA Academy Championship, the Champion, Vega def. the Challenger Kid Kaos to retain the Title.
Match 2) In a match, in which the winners would be the Number One Contenders for the UWA Tag Team Championship, D-Unit and Kered the Clown (The Bad Apples) def Rage and Steel (Full Metal Jacket) to become the Number One Contenders.
We then taped the first WrestleShoot TV episode of the day, which included an interuption of the Honky Tonk Man Interview by Chris "Psycho" Ward, with an ensuing confrontation that had to be seen to be believed, which was joined by UWA Academy Champion Vega!
Match 3) As a consequence to the Honky-Ward-Vega situation, a match was made between Ward and Vega. In this contest, Vega upset "the Psycho One", with a little "assistance" from The Honky Tonk Man.
Match 4) Co-holder of the UWA Tag Team Championship, Ridiculous Mike Rayne and the FLAMBOYANT Rik Luxury resulted in a Double Disqualification, when Full Metal Jacket attacked Rayne. Rayne's Tag partner, Super Dave joined in, as did The Bad Apples, Kid Kaos, Vega, and Psycho Chris Ward. What ensued was a FULL-BLOWN brawl! When order was restored, UWA Owner/Booker and my WrestleShoot co-host, Wildthing Rob Wilds placed a phone call to UWA Commissioner Doug Damien to determine what action should be taken.
As a result, Commissioner Damien ordered that ALL of the participants of the brawl would participate in a Battle Royal to determine the new UWA Hardcore Champion! The Hardcore had earlier been stripped from former Champion, Big Ugly J.D. Bishop, for failure to defend the Title in the required time.
Match 5) In the Battle Royal to determine the NEW UWA Hardcore Champion, Chris "Psycho" Ward came out on top, to become the new UWA Hardcore Champion, defeating all of the other participants of the earlier brawl.
Then, the second edition of WrestleShoot was taped, including an interview with the new UWA Hardcore Champion, Chris "Psycho" Ward, which was BIZZARE, to say the least! Ward and Wildthing Rob Wilds came to blows, joined in by Vega. I had to call out for help from the locker room, as Wilds and Ward continued to brawl.
We ended up suspending the taping momentarily, while order was restored.
Then we closed out the WrestleShoot TV Tapings with a match for the UWA Tag Team Championship!
Match 6) For the UWA Tag Team Championship, the Number One Contenders, D-Unit and Kered the Clown (The Bad Apples) challenged the Champions Super Dave and Ridiculous Mike Rayne (Super-Diculous).
I was joined at ringside by Rage and Steel (Full Metal Jacket), who said they were there to observe this match-up.
After a WILD and EXPLOSIVE battle, Rage and Steel interfered to cost The Bad Apples a chance to win the Titles. The winners and STILL UWA Tag Team Champions, Super-Diculous.
And so...that was it for another Taping of WrestleShoot TV. It WAS a WILD, WACKY afternoon and evening of UWA action!
I will let you know just WHEN the next Taping of WrestleShoot TV will be held.
