Okay did not really know where to post this, but here seams like a good enough place.
So as we all know Brock Lesner took a leave of absence from WWE to persue NFL. HE was signed my the Vikings, my fav team by the way, a week before training camp.
As of right now he is a Defencive Tackle, but is a 3rd stringer. Aparently he is having problems with the mental part of the game. The coach says that it is probally because he has not plaied football since he was in high school in 1995. Brock has secured a spot on the practice team, and may play a preseason game or 2, but unless he really picks up his game, he will be sitting on the bench.

That can make sense to me. Wrestling doesn't require the same kind of focus as NFL, as well as the whole team element.
Wrestling does require some intense stuff for a short period of time(say, 15-20 minutes usually), where-as in football it is short term, a few seconds here and there.
Plus, high school, college and pro football are three different versions of the same thing. I know a few pro basketball players who didn't do all that hot in the pros. Bobby Hurley was one. Top draft pick too, but couldn't cut it in the pros.
Brock is definately a power-house, but if he lacks the discipline necessary to work within a team environment, he won't ever make it. But who knows what his problems are. Even as a third-stringer, I'd hate to get nailed by him, he'd drive my skinny butt into the ground like a sledge to a tent stake.

Brock has spent to much time as an individual in the individual spotlight, in football very few players acheive that only the best of the best, so Brock my have that im not a superstar just another player type thing in his mind which will hold him back, he needs to get TEAM into his head no one player you play as a unit one part fails everyone fails

Well, crap. I bet a season of training at a professional level will help him if that is really his goal. Of course, he can always go back to wrestling. It can be hard for people to move from an indivdual effort to a team effort.
I sure would hate to be the locker that he took out the news of his dismissal on!
