Wondering what people's opinions are about copying video games and music.
I for one am totally against using anything that I personally did not pay the license for except as a trial basis. Let me remove cartridge based games from this issue since those are harder, but possible to copy as well.
Yes, I do use CDR's in my live sound rig, but if you check my discs, you'll find everything within my library. Why bring 8+ CD's for sound check when I can compile just what I want on one?
Granted, CD's are overpriced, costing FAR LESS to produce than a cassette, more durable and are frictionless(tape must be pulled/dragged over a head to be read).
With PC games and some video game platforms, it is easy to make and play copies.
Just keep in mind that pirating just keeps pushing prices up.

Hmm, guess you're not receiving income from royalties, are you?
Yeah, that's what I'd thought.
CD sales are up, prices are DOWN, and guess what? Record companes are making the money since these lower prices are done at the artist's expense. Maybe you should be on the inside looking out and wondering why you're not making any money yet your music is selling like mad.
Come back when the clue-mobile delivers something for you.
Remember, theft is still theft.
