First, let me admit to NOT being a sports fan. Yes, I was directly employed by Wayman Tisdale for 14 months while he was a player for the Kings, even went to an All-Star game, but alas, I am not a sports fan. I like soccer though.
I am so sick of baseball. That is a boring sport. Football: yeah, let's play for 5 seconds, rest for 45. Screw that. Hell, even in basketball, there is absolutely minimal pause between points and otherwise the ball is in play and moving.
But my point: Last week, baseball. This week football. I want my damn WWE. I work my butt off a minimum of 100 hours a week(I work all 7 days), I need my "brain dead" time. I like the action and the stories are just handed to you, no need to think too much. Yeah, it plays on Saturday so I won't miss it: NOT!! I have events Saturday. At least 31 doesn't like those psychic friends ad garbage.

Chris,
Why not set your VCR to record SMACKDOWN? I would, but my VCR took a dump. I'm going to be gone too, so, I'm going to miss the Guerrero-Angle 2 out of 3 falls match, DAMNIT.

I'm so busy that if I don't have time to catch it when it happens, then I'm not going to have to the time catch it via tape delay. Let me put it this way: a friend loaned me a DVD, to which I immediately returned it(as in within a second) because I am not going to have time to watch it. Last time he loaned me a tape, I returned it 8 months later untouched. Heck, I even lost it for a while.
Yeah, the VCR thing is great, but I don't feel like watching a September 2004 Smackdown in September 2005!

TIVO is a great idea, and what makes it run: 3DO technology!!
But that's not the issue. I am opposed to TIVO since it tracks your viewing activities. I'm a privacy advocate. If some old guys are still rewinding to Ms. Jackson's nip-slip, then leave them alone, stop spying on them.
Still, it is a great idea and a great concept otherwise.
