Just a general question for the wrestlers out there. I've been watching this stuff on TV for years, since I was 12. Crap, that means I've been watching this on TV for 20 years!! It's one thing to see it on TV, but watching it live was a first for me on May 22. Truly amazing.
I was just wondering how long most of you train and practice before you took it to the next level, such as joining the UWA? Also, how much practice and training is done between events?
It was nice to meet the majority of the wrestlers. A very pleasant organization. I am positive we'll run into each other ar future UWA events.

we dont officially have a photographer as of yet. Chris has some digi pics. although they are kind of blurred. Ill get in tough with the film crew. we are going to be making a best of UWA tape.
Thanks for signing up Biff, as for doing a show sooner, we are working on that.
Keep the ideas and post flowing everyone.

Yeah, considering the limitations on my camera, and digital cameras in general, mine came out rather good. Yes, they were slightly blurred, and that halo crap going on just irks the snot outta me. It is also possible that my reducing the image quality to "2" in PhotoShop may have something to do with the blur as well.
Most of my images were taken from my main mix position. I have another camera that works best outdoors despite it having a flash, so I didn't bother with that one. I got a new Sony DV Cam, cost me a grand. That's got a nice camera mode in it, although at 640X480, it's not super great but takes lost of photos and is faster than my other cameras. Perfect for my web work since I reduce all photos to 640X480 anyways.
As always, all photos taken by Studio42 are not for sale and are used for promotional purposes only because let's face it, who the hell is gonna want to buy my pictures anyways?
I also make my photos available to the operator of the event. So, all the UWA photos are available for UWA purposes only - the untouched photos before reduction.
At future events, I will take all 3 cameras along and have someone snap shots for me. I don't like doing double duty. I'm a sound man, man!
Overhauling my site by the way. No major changes, all content will remain the same, just kicking it up a notch, or maybe just kicking it in the crotch. Either way, it should be more "modern", I guess.
